Engagement path
From first note to findings workshop — how we run an application audit of budgeting practices.
Why this page exists
Finance teams often ask what happens between the first email and the final report. This path describes our usual sequence for a budgeting application audit. Shorter reviews compress the same steps.
- Inquiry — You share fiscal calendar, entity count, and whether packs are Japanese, English, or both. We confirm fit within two business days.
- Scope letter — Entities, interview list, document list, fee, deposit, and start date. No work begins without a signed letter and deposit.
- Evidence window — You provide sample packs and circulars. We read before scheduling interviews so conversations stay concrete.
- Interviews — Forty-five to sixty minutes with holders and reviewers. We ask how last cycle actually ran, not how the memo says it should run.
- Application map — A draft picture of where instructions are applied, bent, or bypassed. You may correct factual errors before the workshop.
- Findings workshop — Ranked issues, open discussion, decisions on remediation timing.
- Report & close — Final pack delivered; optional thirty-day clarification call included.
What you prepare
A coordination contact, NDA if needed, and access to packs from two cycles. Holders should know interviews are diagnostic, not performance reviews of individuals.
